Very caring staff and reasonable prices.
After being referred by Meredith Emergency Vet, I brought my dog to be seen a number of times for his amputation, chemo and follow ups. The staff was always kind, responsive and helpful.
Bella Kitty had first met everyone after her rough experience from her double knee operation, they treated her like their own. WE brought her back again when we discoverd she knocked the pin out or her knee and they assisted with getting the surgeon to take care of her right away, and they operated again, and she is home doing great. Thank you for treating her like part of your family!
Was referred to Dr Rallings by our vet. Everyone was very professional and kept us apprised of what tests they would be doing and what the possible costs would be. Dr. Rallings thoroughly explained his findings.
VECC did a wonderful job taking care of our pup. We brought him there at 3 am during our vacation because he was vomiting and restless (normally he sleeps like a baby, but he could not sit still). We were seen right away, and after some X-rays, we learned that he had a sand impaction filling his small intestine.
The vet explained that they wanted to keep him overnight so they could give him some medicine and some IV fluid to try to move the sand out of his G.I. system. They called us the next morning and let us know that we could pick him up and that he was doing well. When we picked him up, he was full of energy and back to his old self.
The staff was great throughout the process and the DVM indulged our many, many questions.
One thing I want to share: We went back and forth on whether to do X-rays because our dog’s symptoms weren’t serious at the time, and emergency X-rays can be expensive. We are so glad we ended up getting the imaging because, as it turns out, sand impactions can be very serious and sometimes fatal in dogs. The lesson I learned from this is that despite the cost, the peace of mind of knowing what’s going on is worth it.

Dr. Rollings spent a lot of time getting Oliver’s history and explained everything very thoroughly. I felt heard and left with relief, knowledge, and a direction to pursue further what is going on with him. Crystal went above and beyond in researching and getting the referral we needed. Great experience. Thank you!! Hoping I never have need for another internal medicine consult, but if I do, I will not hesitate to return to VECC.
I just brought my dog Peanut Butter in and we had a great experience. Everyone working was so kind and informative, the staff made a very stressful situation much easier. PB was seen immediately upon walking in and was in and out quickly for what she needed done. She got great care at a very reasonable price for an emergency vet trip. I would recommend bringing your pet here if you need emergency care.
Had a great experience today. We have a 5 year old Great Dane. After his morning meal, he was acting strangely, wouldn’t sit or lay down. And extra drooling. We rushed him here, and the staff was awesome. Very friendly, handled our giant with great care. We got the help we needed, and peace of mind. Will definitely be coming back here if something happens again. Thanks so much!!!!
