Dr. Naimark is beyond excited to be a part of the team at VECC/VESH as an emergency clinician! As a Rye native, she is returning to the seacoast after almost 10 years of living and studying in Massachusetts. Dr. Naimark attended Tufts University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biopsychology and worked as a veterinary assistant at an all-feline practice. She then took a year off from schooling to work full-time as a veterinary assistant and traveled to Guatemala to volunteer at a spay/neuter clinic. Most recently, she attended Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her DVM. Alena’s passions in veterinary medicine include emergency medicine, community medicine, and access to care. In her spare time, Alena is an artist and adventurer and enjoys wheel-thrown pottery, painting, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
